Just read these - I had to get a new one for my hands free car - not as expensive as some thought though! £75 for the card and £35 to code it. Not cheap, but not £175 either....

anybody ever bought or contemplated buying spare blanks off ebay and got them coded in a garage?

doesn't work like that unfortunately.

you need a "virgin" card only available from renault.
Ones on Ebay have been programmed before.

which garage mine wants £135 total thats in london
