Cabin air blower thing is dead?

Problem with your Megane? Can't find an answer? Workshop manuals and technical notes are in here.

Cabin air blower thing is dead?

Postby pmcguire » Thu Nov 08, 2007 4:34 pm

Hi,

Was driving the other day and no probs, started it tonight and wondered why it was so quiet. Anyway noticed that there was no air coming through the vents. Played with the dial (manual AC) and still nothing came, AC on and off the blowers are totally dead.

Is there a fuse somewhere that could have blown?

It was -1 when I started and the windshield started to fog up pretty quick.

Frustrated of Helsinki.

Ok I found the fusebox and the culprit fuse, removed it and it looked fine.
Then I replaced it and tried and the fan started working. I then put the original fuse back and that worked too, but only on setting 2 and 3 :? :?

Wierd car this is I tell you. Anyway it's working enough that I can do my job tomorrow, thanks speedy!
