ABS switch

what do u think of a switch to turn off the abs

TBH I have to say that would be potentially very dangerous: first of all the ABS system is solely responsible for acting as a pressure regulator for the rear brakes as there is no separate load-sensitive limiting valve for the rar brakes on these cars anymore.

So if the ABS was to be be deactivated, the braking pressure to the rear wheels would no longer be regulated and you could end up with dangerously rear-biased brakes. With the possible (and likely) consequence of the car spinning instantly the moment youd be slamming the brakes any harder (in a panic stop for example)! :cry:

the abs will help u on emergncy stops but limits what u can do with the car... the switch can be turned on and off i was wondering if it would cause any trouble with the cars electric systems

i tried the car on track once with the abs still on as soon as i would try to use the brakes to skid into a turn it would stop the car........but i tried the switch and almost destroyed my car so im gonna take ur adivce and leave it alone
