Hi all,
New to the forum and need to pick some brains...
Megane 1.4 started misfiring and running lump on Wednesday, changed all my plugs and 1 coil pack. Started up and 2 days later started misfiring and running lumpy again, bought a diagnostic checker and it read P0300, doesn’t point to a specific cylinder.
Any ideas? Plugs are new, leads have voltage.
My next job would be to replace the other 3 coils but I have a feeling this won’t solve it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: Engine Misfire
I'm sure you've checked, but mine just last week one of the wires that runs to the coil pack had corroded about 30mm away from the coil pack under the plastic sheath.. It actually looked like the sheath had been cutting through the wire over time rather than protecting it. Mine was facing down so not visible immedialty, but was literally one strand of copper sending current to the coil
Re: Engine Misfire
Did you use dielectric grease when you changed the plugs and coil?
Re: Engine Misfire

Re: Engine Misfire
do not know much about the petrol model, I would have thought the fuel injector would be one of the 4 injecting the fuel into the cylinder, though i could be wrong SORRY NOT MUCH HELP REALLY though if your asking which specific injector your car is fitted with I would suggest removing one and look for marking on it..
Re: Engine Misfire
I would imagine a quick call to your local dealer armed with the registration would reveal exactly which injector you need.
