front indicator blub wont work but double flashing the side and rear??

hi

new to this... I have a 2004 Renault megane 1.5 dci I don't know why but the front driver side indicator wont flash but its double flashing the side and rear indicator bulbs. I have changed all the bulbs as I though one was blown or was on its way out..... nothing. I have had to take the bumper off to access and remove the lights as the access panel is sooo small. I have checked internal fuses and all seem fine I don't know where the relay unit is under the bonnet.
its driving me CRAZY!!

please any help would be most appreciated.

The other lights double flash to show that one of the bulbs isn't working. usually it is just because it is blown but a break in the wiring will probably have the same effect.

I had a similar issue with mine. When I took the headlight out and looked closely at the indicator housing, I discovered a small hole in one of the prongs which was causing the problem.

Obtained a new from scrappy and not had any issues since.

Worth having a look
