keycard issues - even spare not working

The keycard entry is playing up on my megane 2007. Its the handsfree one. I have not seen any warnings about low battery, and even the spare keycard is not working. I cannot get in the boot using the buttons on the boot itself, nor gain access via any of the doors. All were working fine previously.

I can get in via the emergency key, and if I place the keycard in the holder, the car will start.

What likely to be the issue?

Fixed! Needed new batteries in both keycards!!
