Looking to add a 12v socket to the boot of my Megane II.
Any tips?

What will it be used for? Does it need to be switched with the igition?

It should be switched to the ignition and will be used to hide an unwanted telematics device

I've added a socket and ran it off boot light with inline fuse and works fine

I ended up wiring into the passenger footwell instead. Wiring for my boot lighting seems to have been French in the extreme.
