Nejkov,

I think you will be able to find the Amp/hour rating easily on the internet (or the battery!) for your car.
Alex recommends Bosch or Varta and I'm in no position to argue.

Re: Car Battery change
Because, different manufacturers recommend different car battery capacity, I am looking for OEM Ah.

Re: Car Battery change
For Megane II 1.6vvt the battery size 027 is specified. The best value for money (unless you are selling the car tomorrow) are Bosch S5 batteries, see
https://www.boschbatteries.co.uk
They are better (more reliable) although similar by the technical specs to the original Tudors. S5-s come with 5 years warranty.
S5-s have the highest capacity (Ah) in the class.

Re: Car Battery change
So, which is OEM Ah?
Is it around 50, 60, or 70Ah?

Re: Car Battery change
Tudor is a part of Exide, which is OEM for many European makes. Exide 027 batteries are either 62Ah/540A or 64Ah/640A (Premium) depending upon the grade. The highest grade was not available when Megane II was released. These come with 4 years warranty. Bosch S5 in this size is 63Ah/610A, 5 years warranty. The years of warranty mean the battery can sustain more cycles of high load. At this point you may want to ignore minor variations in the declared parameters as the companies have their own methods of measuring them. The batteries tend to loose their capacity and those who loose it slower are better.
In a nutshell, any battery size 027 will do the job, the dodgy makes will fail soon, Exide Premium is good, Bosch S5 has a reputation for reliability.

These are the specs/sizes of Bosch batteries:
https://rb-aa.bosch.com/aa-batterien/gb/ ... -S4-S5.pdf
I am advertising Bosch only because I am buying a new battery for my car now, and I've done my home work. The old Tudor is 7 y.o. It has not failed yet, but it takes up to a second to start the engine, which is longer than it used to be. For 1.9dci I need 096 size, which corresponds to Bosch S5008. They have 24h delivery free offer at https://www.boschbatteries.co.uk now , and I am going for it. Exide Premium in this size gives 20A less CCA, 1 year shorter warranty and costs £88 inc VAT + £8 delivery. Bosch S5008 is £86 inc VAT, free delivery(offer) and a better reputation. So, it is a no-brainer in my case...
