Turbo !!!

Hi just wondering if my turbo it on it way out ,just notice a noise coming from the turbo, it sounds like a police siren in the distance . No power loss/smoke, in fact feels a bit quicker
oil changed twice a year since owning the car .... Car is a 52 Reg 1.9 dci with 150,000 on the clock.Thanks Jim

I had Saab Turbo that developed a "a police siren in the distance" noise at about 100,000 to 150,000ish miles. The turbo was still absolutely fine even when I finally sold the car after another 100,000 to 150,000 after the noise started.

Hi thanks for the reply,when i looked up on the internet you get information good and bad .Anyway will have to live with it,not going down that road and replacing the turbo,cars too old...

My Megane has 79k on it and does the same has done since i got it nearly 3 years ago
