Fan speed

Hi first of all my car is a 52 reg dci , the problem i have been having for sometime is my fan speeds randomly turn off (all 4 speeds , standard heater)i can be driving along and the fan will just stop and sometimes stay off all day and then come back on the next day . Yesterday going to work, half way through the journey they went off and never came back on till this morning, but the heater control panel back lights did not come on and are still off, then on the way home fan went off again . Hi Jim!

It sound as an issue with either the wiring or the connector not making good contact. From what I have read on this forum the connectors tend to melt away. The other option will be the resistor pack itself. Thanks!

Hi thanks for the reply ,turned out to be a faulty fan .I removed the fan but left it plugged it and tested the fan speeds but nothing till i gave the fan a shake and it started to work (worn bushes i think)replace fan everything working so far Thanks again Jim...
