external temperature sensor

Does anyone know how the wing mirror comes apart as i need to change the external temperature sensor on my 2006 1.9dci, can get the mirror off easily enough but cant see how the rest comes apart. any help appreciated

My 2003 Megane 1.4 16V 3 door (french spec LHD) has the sensor in the mirror,(wires etc ) yet it does not show on the inside display?

Have changed the sensor, and still no joy thinking about changing the display?

anyone any ideas as to which models (Authentique) have this as standard fitting and possible ideas to remedy.
