Re: Megane cc Meet 2014
I attended a Fiat meeting near Manchester Airport and about fifteen cars turned up. But the organiser had nothing planned, no prizes for farthest travelled, nothing! So we sat in the pub for a bit then hung around in the car park before folk started drifting off home. So best plan and advertise, but some things you can't control ( weather, football match on TV, or general appathy ) , but if you can get a core of even three or four to commit, then hopefully more will join? Do we have cards or something to pop under the wipers of potential new members cars? Or Megane CC Owners Club stickers??...... It all helps.
Re: Megane cc Meet 2014
I think we should have a brain storming session. I will try to come up with ideas and propose.

Re: Megane cc Meet 2014
I look forward to seeing what you come up with..

Re: Megane cc Meet 2014
I have an idea. Kent and east sussex have a lot of places to be seen. England is a beautiful place. There is camber sands, beachy head, bodiam castle, herstmonceux castle etc.
We could meet in Brighton for example, make a drive to beachy head spend some time there, then drive to camber sands via different places. Maybe we should introduce a fee like £1.00 or something and put the money towards prizes. In this way it would give incentive for people to actually show up.
I think there is a lot to be seen.
What do you guys think? The next question should be should it be a day trip or more?
UK is full of beautiful places, there is snowdain mountain or hill, bath etc.

Re: Megane cc Meet 2014
Brighton is a good place to start (easy to find etc) and has good motoring connections with several events held there annually. Plus there is a good range of nightlife for those who want to stay over. It's 250 miles away from me so I would need/want to stay overnight.
Re: Megane cc Meet 2014
When my work slows down I will put some time into this and propose something more detailed.

Re: Megane cc Meet 2014
I'll tell you what, if we (that means you!!) manage to get something sorted I will arrange some little window stickers...maybe saying Megane CC Brighton UK, just for those attending, of course.
Must figure out how to insert pictures into a message....

There is an idea. Sorry for not getting back with a route. I have been a little busy. I will get it done as soon as I get a chance.

Re: Megane cc Meet 2014
Probably setting a date, and then working from there is the way to start? Attendees, driving routes, evening party and ticker tape parade details will fall into place as we go along.....
I have ordered a couple of random decals, from a company in Iceland ( don't ask ) and will post a picture or two when they arrive.

These are the stickers I had made. Obviously they have not been applied yet, when on the car you only get the coloured bit, there is no backing, just whatever colour you can see here.
