Hi - Just picked up my 57 reg Megane 1.9. I used the buying tips so thanks and think I got a bargain - £1700 for 101,000 miles!!

It's not perfect - some cosmetic issues but if I can't sort I may ask several questions but to start:

The cubby holes in the door arm rest (the lidded ones) both come off but look like they should be hinged somehow - are they repairable or do I visit the local scrappy?

Hi and welcome to the forum, the door pocket lids are hinged with plastic as they are molded , so new ones needed unless you take them out and use gaffa tape as Hinge's

Thanks - I thought looking closely that was the case. Ham fisted previous owner perhaps!
And the door grabs at the front are beginning to loose their top coat - repaint I guess.
