have you checked the drains under the scuttle panel ( where the wiper arms are )

Yes, They appear clear. We used a watering can to pour some water on there and it drained out by the front wheels
I did used to get water sitting on the plastic trim by the back windows after it rained hard but no sign of any coming through there.
Seats are dry, front of car and boot is also dry

water can also find its way in threw the doors if the drains are blocked in the bottom of the doors, have a look under the door seal

i had the same problem , get access to the front door pillars /posts ...hold a hose pipe to the bottom of both sides of the front screen " even better if you remove the scuttle end plastic trim , and get someone inside to see if water is coming in from inside the front door posts ?. water buids up in the front footwells and then overflows into the rear footwells and due to the foam underlay " water get sucked everywhere .
