Megane CC Upgrade?

Hey everyone new cc owner since November and been seeing so much stuff being done to these like Wanda's RS mods are amazing. Was thinking of doing some body upgrades and although I like the rs look I want to do something a bit different..

Love the front end on it but still debating whether the rs front ends nicer or not.. I'm going to keep it pre facelift anyways because It looks more aggressive I find

But looking at the images also available on unqshop.com it seems the body kit might be a bit naff in person when compared to the photoshopped images. But what do you guys think? Don't wanna fork out for it to find it a terrible fit and end up doing the rs replica anyways..

On the point of the rs replica as well.. Would be more feasible to do the back end as well if I knew how much and where to get the bloody exhaust mods.. I heard someone went to Elia for theres in germany... No chance of that though haha.

Not sure... The problem is that your CC is not ugly, which makes it difficult to modify it without disturbing the overall composition. the back end of a CC looks heavy enough. Thus don't add any boxiness to it. The wheels definitely are asking for an upgrade to something like r26, which will not look right without Brembos, slotted discs and rs front bodywork. Adding Perfohubs would be nice. Just model the above in a computer and see... I use Gimp editing programme for such tasks.

The rear end is a problem. I would be tempted to look at options involving a large diffuser, something like rs250... It makes the back look slimmer and more aerodynamic in the same time. In a CC it would also reduce the rear lift at high speeds, which they suffer. I have no idea how to implement this; do more browsing and sketches. I'm not sure if there exits an aftermarket solution. They mostly focus on skirts, which are the opposite to what aesthetics demands.

On the other hand... These mods will be expensive and will not pay back when changing the car. Why not to look at second hand rs250 cup? You can't beat the quality and comfort of its ride... unless you're a passenger!

I hear what your getting at.. I quitelike the car and dont really want to change it with it being such low mileage so ill be sticking with it for awhile.

I definitely think the front end needs a change which i can source for cheap off an rs which will just bolt straight on however like you said the rear ends an issue.

I an quite sickened by the rear bumper trims whatever idiot thought of them in the design stage needs a kick. The only way it would make it bearable is with colour coding them but again i find if i were to add a diffuser it would look too squashed on with the trims there as well. This is whyi thoughof the rs rear as its really the only way to be rid of them. So that seems the way to go

The wheels are a must but at the moment not a neccesity im more bothered by the trims than the rims but i quite like the rs wheels though. Ill have a look at that program and do some mor searching on french forums..

You know rough cost of spraying a new bumper? Im guessing 150-200?
