center console lights not working

hi guys, just about to pick up a megane 2 on a 52 plate today, so hopefully will be on here a lot more. The centre console lights are not working, all other interior lights work apart from radio aircon ect.. any ideas where to start? which fuse to check? thanks

There are 2 fuse boxes, one in the glove compartment, and the other under the bonnet. You might need the first one.

Don't be surprised if you find out that the problem is caused by somebody fiddling with electrics when installing/removing the radio.

New to the forum and I have experienced the same issue, trying to find the fuse number for the center console lights.
I have a 2004 1.5dci. If anyone could help that would be great?

Hi,

I just bought a 2003 Megane and it had a unlit center console.
Following the youtube guide below I changed two bulbs behind the fan and temperature control and had light back in the center console.
