Adding a spare wheel
I have a 2005 convertible and have added a 16" alloy spare wheel rather than rely on the puncture repair kit. While the wheel fits nicely into the wheel well the boot floor cover will not fit as it needs to be flat. Does anyone know if a flat cover is available if so how can I get one?

If anyone has frabricated a floor (I can't find any threads) and has the measurements I would appreciate the info before I start to try and make one myself.

Hi. I cut the bit out that was lower than the rest of the Floor (this part is for a Wind Defector). I then cut part of the side's off so the side's did not stand higher than the rest of the floor. I then put it back in as a separate part. It looks ok, but I brought a Rubber Boot Liner that covers the whole Floor (this is easer to clean than the boot floor as well).
I put all the Tools ETC in the centre of the Wheel.
If you have a Wind Defector Box put it in the Loft at Home, no need to keep it in the car.
P.S. You will have to take off part of the Sound Proofing Material as well.

Re: Adding a spare wheel
Hi, I made my own with a piece of plywood and a piece of boot lining material from Thorsby Sunday Market. Total cost was less than £10.I used some cardboard to make a template of the boot, marked it out on the ply and cut it out. Simply glued the carpet to it and cut the excess off. The off cut is used to make the upright bit along the back (As it is with the original one). Job done.
