Cleaning roof seals

Postby Joehufc » Tue Sep 17, 2013 4:00 pm

Hi, I'm very aware of common problems with the megane Cc after much research and now have bought my very own :)

I'm wondering, when I clean the seals on roof, can I stop the roof half way up while running the engine to make easy access to the seals without screwing anything up? (engine running)

you can open the roof with the engine running and stop it half way , BUT be very careful as it only stops open for about 15mins and will then start to close . i open up , clean and lube half the seals then open roof fully , i then repete this on the seals i have not done and lube the cables and parts under the rear shelf , use a silicon spray for this and i use silicone grease for the seals
