Megane II ICE, What fits and Where Can I Get it?

My car actually has a cassette player installed (2004 Megnae Extreme) - would I be able to do a straight swap and replace it with a second hand CD player (as in, would the steering wheel controls and central console display still work?). If so, can I then use the useful stuff from up there?

you can put a standard cd player in, just make sure you have the all the codes required including, the new radio code, and its best to keep your old code just incase it dosent work although you should be ok as your original radio should work in your car anyway

I have just fitted my Sony MEX-BT2900 stereo in my Megane. Everything works and it's all good apart from I now don't have working Steering Wheel controls. What kind of adapter do I need? Is it even possible to connect it? I tried Halfords but they weren't helpful and couldn't suggest anything.

This supports a stalk adapter.

Got stereo off eBay private sale.

But stalk adapter and cage from dynamic sounds on eBay ,

Be carefull with dynamic sounds though , First Stallone adapter they sent me was faulty , and they tried to blame it on me , so I sent it back recorded delivery and eventually then sent a replacement .

Never refunded the return postage fee for the faulty one tho

do all double din headunits on ebay require cages, i know they need steering wheel adapters

Some head units come with them ,

but you will still need the facial adapter to cover the gap between the stereo and the dash edge

As far as that stereo , I'd go for something that's named eg pioneer , Sony

A lot of people have reported that the Xtrons won't work with the stalk adapter even though they say they will

Look up the av2400bt or in that range they start from about 170 ish

I was supposed to be getting a Pioneer DA100 App Radio double din fitted to my 2009 Megane CC but the fascia adapater ordered by Halfords didn't fit Now just waiting for them to see why and then hopefully will get it fitted next week. Will upload pics once done if of any interest?

Hi, have had a flick thru the forums but couldn't find anything about my query, I've recently got a 1.4 16v extreme, and it came with no headunit. I've popped the alpine out my impreza in, but no rear speakers.. front work gr8, but fade to back and nothing.. car is original other than having it's head unit removed previous owner lost the code so the garage removed it.

any ideas? it's rather annoying lol

um are they not standard? :S as i say the car hasn't been altered since new other than having it's headunit removed.. but I will look.. um where are they btw? in the back door cards i presume..
