Postby Gazwould » Wed Mar 13, 2013 7:38 pm

2006 1.5 106bhp dci.

Its metal, but choice of 2, 1 has a water sensor !

Even the Stealer who has replaced it twice didn't know

No idea. Can't you just have a look? Use a flashlight and a mirror if necessary. Find images on ebay and compare.

If it has a sensor, you will more than likely have a dash light for it.

My 1.5dCi 106 (55) does NOT have a water sensor (probably depends on the spec if anything), if that's any help.

Simples in the end.

Fleabay images were of no use.

I went to a motorfactors who had both, they looked identical except the bottom had a cutout recess for the water sensor version.

Popping off the offside wheel arch access cover you can see the filter and its bottom had NO sensor.
