Anyone know which Haynes manual is best for a 2004 1.9dci Dynamique? There is a 2002 - 2005 version and a 2002 - 2008 version and I wasn't sure which (if either) is best for the common faults. Both should be ok for normal servicing, changing brake pads etc which I plan to do myself.
Just bought it from a friend and car is in lovely condition - just have a couple of issues:
- Front passenger window doesn't work (luckily stuck in closed position!). Expect it's one of the usual problems but want to know how to take the door trim off.
- Change oil soon light message appears although oil was recently changed. Not sure if I need a reader to reset.
- Sounds a little noisy at idle and want to check recommended idle speeds. there again this is my first diesel car so may be normal!
Otherwise a lovely car to look at and drive!

Got the latest one in the end - for 2052 - 2008.
Haynes manuals defintely not as good as they used to be. The one for my Sierra was much more detailed and had comprehensive fault finding - this one is ok but lacks detail.
Still it does cover removing the door card and engine mounts which I need to look at first.

Don't forget to look into the factory workshop manuals in the Problems forum! They contain many more pages than Hayness.
