My bonnet had started to peel so i bought a good condition one to replace it - however upon removing the old one and putting on the new one I have found it really difficult to align correctly...sometimes i can get the catch to line up perfect but then there seems to be a big gap on one side of the bonnet compared to the other OR I get the gaps even either side and the catch does not align.
Is there a knack to getting this right?
Any help very much appreciated!!

Re: Align bonnet with catch?
Last few things in the rebuild. Anyone know the trick with aligning the bonnet catch? It latches down then springs open as soon as the car moves or else it jams latched. How do you set it up so it works as intended?
