Hi guys, i used the search bar, but didnt find what i was looking for and had to wait a while before i could check the next page.
Anyways, picked up my first megane today, 54 plate 1.9 DCi 120 Dynamique.
I was told that the car can lock and unlock its self as long as the card is close?
I read the Manuel but it doesnt give much info on how to get this working.
Can anybody shed any light on this?
EDIT... IT has the Black square behind the door handle.

They all have the black square behind the door handle (I think), the 'hands free' cars have an oval button recessed into the handle itself which you use to lock the car.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh
So maybe it dosent have the unlocking?
Does that mean it wont have the start without card being put in?

Yes, both or neither I'm afraid.

Ahh Bugga,
Does it matter that i can start the car with the card pressed into the slot? then put it anywhere in the car and car still runs?

Re: First Question - Auto locking?
No, it's designed to operate that way. The keycards in Lagunas, however, had a hole through them and when the car was running they were pinned (locked) into the slot (keycard reader).
