Newbie With Problems

Hi All, i have just baught my second megane its an 02 plate 1.4, baught it as a non runner it turns over but just doesnt fire ive checked that it has spark all ok. have bin told it could be immobiliser/key?? typical renault electrics i supose lol Any Ideas? Thanks

Plug it into CLIP and see what you can and can't access.

Ive put the car on a diagnostics and it came up as the throttle body sensor, so changed that and still didnt start but check injection came up on the dash? Any ideas?

Well, check injection should trigger an OBD code. Keep trying...

The manuals in this forum have factory diagnostic procedures in them. Have a read.

Just a quick 1, i noticed that the wires off the clutch switch were off not the top 1 but the 1 more to the back of the pedal would this stop it starting? Thanks

Yes - if you only depress the clutch. Try both brake and clutch. This is a well documented problem. (Hint: search!)
