bonnet wont open?

Have just pulled lever inside car and the bonnet wont pop up? The lever feels lose so not sure if its snaped....was fine last time i opened it!! Is there another way i can open the bonnet, my battery is flat and need charging!!! thanks guys

Hi, I'm no expert, but have just bought Megane 225 and my bonnet doesn't actually 'pop-up'; I have to get my fingers down between the bonnet and the front of the car and force it upward before pressing the catch to release it.
