New R26 Owner

Hi all,

Now that my lad is a teenager the need for an estate car is not as important (that's what I told the wife anyway !) so I can go back to owning a sharpish hatch, which I always had before he was born.

So ..... I've just bought an Albi Blue F1 R26 (2008) which has been remapped by K-Tec to 257bhp. 20,000 miles, FDSH etc.

I live in Selby, Yorkshire & have had the car a couple of weeks now ... I love it !

I have since found out that it is one of only three R26s made in 'Albi Blue', which is a bonus.

Just found this forum online when looking for advice on improving the speakers etc as the current sound quality isn't good (I'm not into making mods etc... just want better speakers/sound). I have found some Pioneer speakers which appear to be made for the Renault in the front, but what about the rear speakers ?

Hopefully this will be like most forums, where everyone is friendly & helpful (I know i will be if I can help others etc).

Car looks fantastic,
I belive if you look in the ice section there is a topic named what goes where, that should give you all the info you need for speaker sizes.
I can't help as I've put bigger than standard speakers in which included making custom pods for them.
Let me know of you can't find the topic and I'll have a look and post it up here for you.

Hi, and thanks for the welcome.

Unfortunately the thread you mention doesn't include details regarding speakers. The original poster mentioned that he was going to investigate and post a list, but must not have been able to do it.

I've started a thread on there to hopefully see if the members can help with the info.
