window/ central locking failure on psf door
Hello. im a noobie, sorry. the problem i have on a megane II aug2005 is that the psf door window wont close or open in 1 press of button either up or down, it needs to be depressed many times to be fully shut or open. and the same door the central locking will not engage, it sounds and feels like the lock operates but the dash tells me that the door is open when its not. this causes the doors to lock the unlock when keycard is pressed. if the psf door loom is disconnected from rest of car. everything else is ok. as its only this door that is causing the problem can anyone tell me if its the interior multiplex is at fault, as it seems to be what controls the windows and door locks. (havent tried the mirror movement). please advice if poss.

I had the same problem with a customers megane,i had to strip out the door latch, open the unit ,inside there is two motors, the bottom motor was wedged with a piece of broken plastic, after removing this plastic everything worked fine, think it is to do with deadlocking,so i never deadlock mine !!!!
Re: window/ central locking failure on psf door
@eddie. the battery has not been changed. ive tried resetting the door locks which didnt work. but i havent tried the windows(@neil). because the door and the window are playing up both at the same time, the wiring diagram looks like the interior multiplex unit controls both. as most of the functions work the fuses havent gone. its as though the door starts to get power for a second then stops so no perminany volts to the electrics. think i might have to visit someone with a car computer.
