does anybody know what is the difference between the 2.0L turbo engines fitted in the 165bhp dynamique and renault sport 225bhp? is it the same lump? different turbos?

Same K4M engine.
Larger turbo and differnet internals.
The engine map is also differnt.

K4M? K4M is the 1.6. F4R is the 2.0. The 165 Turbo is pretty much the same as the non turbo 2.0 with a turbo strapped on. The 2.0 225 unit has 'uprated' internals and different manifolds. The Clios version the 182/172 would be an interesting 'upgrade'.
