225 - Front bumper dismantling

Postby IHT8670 » Wed Aug 17, 2011 8:34 am

Hello everyone,

First of all congratulations to us all for we drive the best f-wheel drive ever!

Secondly, regarding a minor thing that troubles me since my first oil change.
Since I had my first oil change, the official service did not put back in the proper order the plastic parts of the engine underfloor and has already happened twice that after 110mph the parts are dismalding in high speed cruise. Very dangerous every side one looks at it.

I have already bought new the expensive plastic parts twice, visitted a new Renault dealer - just in case that it is about a technician's fault but still the problem persists. Bare in mind that the parts cost a minimum of 250GBP... :cry

Just yesterday (AUG the 17th) returning from the weekend bank holiday, I drove a distance of 200miles without the bumper main grill, the engine underfloor assebly and parts inside the f.wheel hood. Very dangerous to lose all of them at 110-120mph and embarashing as well.

Any ideas people?

Cheers,
Stelios - Athens/GRE

225 - Front bumper dismantling

Postby IHT8670 » Fri Aug 19, 2011 7:39 am

Hello there,

I can't see the reason why this car (0-60 in 6.2sec, top speed 150mph) should be driven any slower than that - specially in open highways due to bank holiday.

Anyway - any other ideas about this front bumber?
Anyone with the same problem?

Cheers,
Stelios

A good reason to drive sightly slower would to keep hold of your licence.......(And Your Car)...
