Fuel clicking problem
It's been my second fill up since I've had this problem, basically, the mechanism (whatever it is) to make the diesel pump click when my car is full, is now erratic and clicks at random times way before the tank is full and I just have to keep pulling the lever etc, what could this be down to?
Re: Fuel clicking problem
The device that stops the fuel pump when filling is on the forecourt pump and nothing to do with your car.
Chances are the nozel is slightly bent allowing the fuel to back up in the line stopping the pump

Re: Fuel clicking problem
Oh, thanks for pointing that out, I thought it was to do with my car lol.
This has happened at two separate fuel pumps though and that's what made it think it was something to do with my car.

Nah your cars fine next time you fill up watch others you'll see most of them ramming the nozzel in
leaning on it as filling ect.
Also as the megane has the silver seal thingy don't know if that effect the angle.
