If you guys paint them a sold colour I revon I could print on them, then send you them back n you should laquer them n jobs a good un, would need the file of gears drawn, not 100% on cost but If anyones interested I will find out how long it would take n set up ect n come back with a price

It is a view tech printer, the print from jets and so can spray to meet curvature of 3d item.. The ink is uv cured.

i painted mine then drew in with a fine marker pan

Ok, but yours is alredy engraved, so it is easy to paint. Mine is flat surface with label only... :/

That sounds a lot a hassell for a literal 1 minute job. Ok so the insert is a bit pricey but it's gotta be worth buying it surely?

Can you use a R26 Gear Knob etc on a non R model?! Thinking of changing mine along with the gear gaitor aswell.

Might be possible to get a key cutter to grove into the insert! Then just paint it over and go through the lines with a marker. Worth a try on a spare if anyone has one.
