After market radio reception?

Put one the ripspeed dvd players in but the radio reception is bad at times nw!

Anybody hav this experience or a cure?

Maybe the receiver is crap.

i had it hooked up in my old car and it was working fine, dont know whats wrong with it now

Pop it back out and check all connections if not done already.

Just a thought but does it have a 12v aerial out for the amp built into base of aerial?
That would greatly reduce reception power
