Window wont go up

Hey all

I'm looking for a bit of help. My window went down about 2 inches and then stuck. It now wont go up or down. I'm assuming it's the regulator. My question is of there's anyway to put the window up without using the switch as I can't afford to take it to the garage until the end of the month. I'm not too bothered if I can't put the window up or down. I just need to stop the rain

I have heard you can pull out the plug at the door hindge side (large rubber flexi hose looking thing) then reconect it and use the button and it will go up a bit, you have to do this a few times, as it goes up in small steps until it reaches the top, I supose it depends though on what happend to it, if it got wet and shorted then no it wont work anyway afraid it is bag n tape time! Worth a try though.
