I have a 6 disc changer and want to add my iPod into the setup should I go for radio transmitter thing or is there a way to connect via head unit hopefully keeping my column controls running the iPod too?

personally is use a transmitter. I bought one for £12 that has a remote control that
works on the iPod touch menus fine.
