Induction Kit

Postby Brownman » Mon May 09, 2011 8:35 pm

I have a 1.4 Dynamique on an '03 plate and want a bit more noise from the thing so at least I can pretend I'm accelerating fast. I have thought about a back box but I would want this to be flush with the bumper which would mean cutting the bumper and this is most likely going to look a mess. Then I thought about an induction kit, but cannot work out where it would fit and it seems K&N do not make a kit for the 1.4 and Pipercross only make them for the 2.0 and the 225

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Cheers
Tom

Get a air filter from halfords. Cheap and cheerful. Panel filter wont make any noise changes.

i got a k&n fileter specialy made for mine but mine is a 1.6. i got it from aldon automotive (google it) its a 57i inducion kit. i cant realy see the differance it would be from a 1.6 to a 1.4 . it is a bit of a pain in the ars* to fit tho as you have to remove the battery and unhook the ecu. it comes with everthing you need in the kit.
