not done the fogs yet as they have been harshly removed by pheasants.
I've the HIDs on mine, look awesome, have you got the projector lenses? I got the Regulation bulbs as i've only got reflectors.

Highly recommend these to everyone.

I agree..

Ive had them in my meggy for over 2 years now..

Hid's are the way forward for sure.. You do both beams? Ive only got my main beam done atm.. Not really keen on doing the full beam because of the spring clips on the bulbs, last time i touched them I had to get the headlight taken out as i dropped the clip while trying to put it back on and it fell inside the headlamp..

And to make it worse when i phoned renault to see if could buy another clip I was told that I'd need to buy a whole new headlamp as the clips dont come seperate.

When you mention regulation bulbs? what are these. As i have projector lenses and Im guessing without these im blinding oncoming drivers.. never had any bother with other drivers on the road but thats the story on here...

Where can i get buy these regulation bulbs?

Thanks

Matt

nah your fine with the projector lenses, its only if you have the old reflector style.
They just have some of the bulb blacked out to stop any glare.

yeah i fitted both beams, full beam really makes a massive difference, it annoyed me that my main beam were crystal clear and my full beam were yellow, so i ordered the other set haha.

Still, one of the best mods for the cost. And i believe the bulbs actually last longer, as i was changing the halogen ones willy nilly.

well i guess i should go do my full beam also as it is raher annoying being yellow when the others are so clear

even my sidelights are white atm.

Any tips on getting the clips back on with the new bulb other than being super carefull and not dropping it this time round lol?

As for the bulbs lasting longer.. they do for sure, I ran my meggy for 6 months with halogens, and changed the bulbs maybe twice, its been a year and a half with hid's, ive yet to replace a bulb.

Most definatly best mod for the cost, although my spax springs are a good runner up lol.

I took the bumper and each headlight out as i did it.
I find the bumper comes off so quickly its worth the effort. You can have it done in half an hour, pain free.

You'll be able to see the back of the light properly and make sure you dont touch the glass, much easier.

Full beam make a huge difference, they just take a bit of warming up when you first turn them on.

I guess your right,
Ive been avoiding taking the bumper off from the beggining lol.. I dont know how but by some miracle I managed to fit my main beam hid's with the bumper on.

Im gonna get the r26 front bumper before I do this coz there's no way im puting the cars own bumper back on, it looks hideos.

Thanks for the help mate.
Much appreciated!
