Paint Problems

My car needed the wing and bumper respraying coz of dents etc,anyway i gave it in to get sprayed and each time its come back a diff color. my color code is TED99 is there only 1 TED99 paintcode? as my cars like a goldy yellowish color but the parts i had spareyed are coming back a lime green color. any1 help please. i have added a pic

thanks eddie for getting back to me. i was hoping there migght be diff shades to it. as he has sprayed it 3 times already each time diff color. u can tell from the pics its a diff color cant u

unfortunately yes, I can tell the difference.

The bodyshop you used, were they recommended to you by someone else or, have you used them before?

Past experience has told me that the only place what seems to be able to get a decent colour match is an official bodyshop. Either that or multiple good recommendations by people who have had work done there, with various light and dark car colours!

If they've tried three times, there is probably not a lot more you can do probably. One thing to watch for though is the lacquer/clear coat... a decent paint job should ensure it doesn't start to flake!

yeah they came recoomended, and has any1 got the same color car as the parts that have been resprayed on mine? the front wing. i was wondering if they have got the wrong paint.

And, if they simply mix the paint to the original spec., they are also disregarding any fading owing to sunlight.

hi. i took the wing i got sprayed and my passenger side wing- turns out that the wing i had painted is a completey diff color( not even a renault color), the company color matched it to my passenger wing and now i have the correct paint. Hopefully they will spray it properly now.Thanks for all your help
