Hi Guys
i have been reading and posting in the other cruise control threads, but i am asking too many questions in those so thought it best to start my own thread!
i have ordered the CC/SL Switch £10.57! bargain!
got 3 resistors from maplin,
i have a 900ohm - white, brown, black, black, brown = 9,1,0,0,1
i have a 270ohm - red, violet, black, black, brown = 2,7,0,0,1
i have a 100ohm - brown, black, black, green, brown = 1,0,0,5,1
is this right?
going to be using my existing steering wheel controller unit so will need to wire it to show the + and - right - will be using the german forum guide
does it matter which way round i connect to the 2 under wheel cables? or does polarity not matter?
regards
Sean

German guide... After I went to all that trouble!lol
The 2 wires can go either way round, it makes the circuit up and there's no polarity issue..

Re: Help With Retrofit Cruise Control - Got My Resistors
its going to be a hybrid, your type of wiring (but the right way round) haha
bloody good write up by the lot of you!
going to do it wednesday / thursday when the switch lands, or might get the hard wired stuff in tomorrow if i can and then just pop the switch in at the dealers and try to drive home on CC!!
i will be so happy if this works!

As with the issue that im having, have you located the wiring behind the fasia panerl for the CC hookup. If it aint there, you cant install it
