Tyre pressure sensors - removing them!

Postby LeeUK » Tue Feb 15, 2011 10:32 pm

Im thinking of taking the sensors off, one is damaged on the outside so needs sorting but they are doing my head in

Can anyone tell me if i remove one or all if it will show as puncture or not show anything

Cheers

If you remove your sensors the wheels will flash on the dash indicating that they are not recieving a signal unless you have them disabled using a CLIP

You can remove them from the wheels then have the feature turned off using a CLIP (Renault Diagnostic toll) They normaly charge £25 for the 4 second job. :banghead

If you remove them and dont have it deactivated every time you turn on the car it will say 'Tyre monitor communication error'.

thanks

I might replace one thats damaged and try and rest the others to prevent errors

although a mate tells me to check the weights, old style might be causing loss of pressure
