front brakes replacement?

Hi there i have a 07 megane 2.0 vvt dynamique hatchback.

I am a competent DIY motorist however have never had the pleasure of doing brakes on a a megane and was wondering is there any special tools needed or anything i should be looking for in replacing the front brake pads and discs?

Any help will be appreciated.

Don't think so - provided you have a 2 foot breaker bar and chrome/vanadium socket.

Make sure you don't twist the flexible break lines/hoses when you detach the calipers.

May need a star type drive as there should be a counter sunk locating screw to position the disc on the hub. This was seized on mine and had to drill and tap it. You should be ok as mines a lot older so less chance of yours being seized.
