Front scuttle drains

Postby galaxy273 » Thu Jul 19, 2012 9:28 pm

Hi my front wiper motor is sitting in water
how do I clear the front scuttle drains
Suggested that I need to remove the plastic trim above the wiper motor can I clear from wheel arch?
Any tips on removing the wipers? nuts come off but blades are stuck how much force is safe to use.

Thanks Galaxy273

I don't have a 225 but the last time I did this job, I bought a small puller for about £3 from the local parts supplier. The splines can get very tight. If necessary, leave the nut on but loose to avoid damaging the thread. You might be able to tug/pry it off, it depends on the situation...

Mark the position of the wiper blades on the windscreen using tape before removing them - that way you will put them back correctly.

Best advice for Megane owners: sell it before it bankrupts you!
