in dash auto changer code

hi, does the in dash 6 cd auto changer have a separate code or will it work straight from the existing head unit (upadate list ).

Yes, the changer does have a separate code, but it will work with the radio which it was "married" to in the factory without the need of typing in the code. So, if it's an original set, radio and changer know and recognise eachother.

I got a 6 disc dash mounted changer out of another megane to put into mine, when i first powered it up it wanted a radio code, which is from the car it comes out of, then it worked fine.

But if you discconnect the battery or unplug the radio in the future, then it uses the code from your radio.
