Front Wiper Hitting Pillar

Postby TobyS » Fri Nov 14, 2008 1:12 am

The front wiper on mine overshoots and hits the pillar. Can it be adjusted easily without taking it to a garage?

I suspose you could see if the wiper arm can be pulled off and repositioned on the splined mounting pin.

If its the same as any other car take the cap off the bottom of the wiper where it is fixed, undo the bolt and reposition. Real easy. If this doesnt work maybe something is worn or broke i.e. the mechanism or threads. Which should be easy enough without taking to a garage. just need patience as on most cars removing the plastic trim hiding the mechanism in quite fidly to remove
