Toxic Fume Filter

Postby bronkone7 » Fri Oct 10, 2008 7:16 pm

Hi All
My toxic fume filter warning light and service light has come on.
Car appears to be running fine, but judging by the threads i've read this could be down to the coils.
I replaced the coils about May time when the car was sluggish but as i say it seems to be running fine now.
Any ideas please
I've got 1600cc Megane 03.
Cheers
Brian :?

is it the 1.6 vvt ?
if so my guess would be cam sensor if nothing's noticably different...see viewtopic.php?f=2&t=7573&p=50936#p50936

Yea thats correct and you was correct with your diagnosis.
Took it to garage this morning and was able to get it sorted there and then.
Went to Lookers of Colchester and found them very obligeing.
Free coffee and todays paper to read and total cost wasn't that bad considering they regassed Air/con as well, which i new needed doing.
Overall pleased with service.
Thanks
Brian
