Tensioner, belt and generator pulley
When does the drive belt and automated tensioner of the drive belt needs to be replaced ? How can I know its wearing out? What about the generator pulley?

Re: Tensioner, belt and generator pulley
Hi and welcome.
It is in your book and in the manual (see my message in Links). What is your car? In my 1.9dci 120bhp the belts are changed after 5 years or 72k miles.

Re: Tensioner, belt and generator pulley
Thanks for reply and I welcome you all. I've changed the aux belt after 4 years because I'm not the first owner and I don't trust the declared mileage of this car. I didn't changed the tensioner of the aux belt(automated) so I'm kinda worried about the belt not to get lose or to tear of. Did you change this tensioner also? A mechanic told me that it is recommended to change the generator pulley also. How can I see that my generator pulley needs to be replaced? My car is a 1.5 dci 80 hp. Excuse my bad english.
