Fuel cap explained!

Ok just been onto Renault Customer Services

Car went back to dealers to have service. Reported opening problem on petrol tank.

Told i have to pay for it as not covered by warranty!!

The garage have so called lubricated it! All i see is a huge glob of glue!

And it still sticks

Renault are of teh opinion i have snapped it off! How ive done that is beyond me

It was fine before!

Any ideas on what i can do?

What was wrong with the filler cap?
Was it just not opening easily?
