help with a in dash cd changer

i am about to fit the new alpine ipod stereo but it doe not have a cd,,, so i wanted to use my in dash cd changer i am getting the steering stereo controll and display converter to work with the stereo but am wondering if i can get a converter to attach to the end of the in dash cd changer lead to convert it to a alpine cd changer and put it into my stereo....... will this work

I don't think so.
You'll need to get an Alpine CD changer.
