Goodwood FOS

Just returned from a day at the festival of speed, no meggies running!! but many other sights to see,
having obtained free tickets from the Sunday Times (bonus or what) I fuelled up and set off at 6:00am on fri morn 5 hours later and 257 miles I reached Goodwood, (Crewe to Portsmouth in torrential rain and storms!!) I spent the day schmoozing with the likes of nick mason, Stig Blomqvist, Petter Solberg and the ever humble Colin McCrae!! sat in a Veyron and tried to sit in a Caterham R400 couldn't get my arse in!!,
Had a fantastic day watching millions of pounds worth of metal thrash up the hill than did the return journey in 31/2 hours avg of 75 mph returning just over 48mpg which I'm well pleased with as I was touching a ton on the way back.
Thoroughly enjoyable day and I would recommend it to any petrol (or diesel) head.
