Double Din in 2003 Megane?

Hi, got a 2003 Megane with the single din tuner list with slot underneath as shown below.

Is it possible to fit a double din headunit without too much hassle?
I can’t seem to find a facia adaptor for the 2003 model – are there any facias for a simple fit?


Also do you need any kind of ISO adaptor, regardless of Single or Double Din?

yeah they can be fitted you need a fasica from ebay £10 and when you take radio out there is a bar that has to be cut away 1min of a job very easy

most double din radio will just plug in car wires already in place it is very easy

Hey..

I've just got a pioneer double din for my megane and obvs need a facia surrond, problem is it's an 04 plate and all facias I can find are for 07 onwards, how much demifference is there?

they will fit no prob

all the fascia says there for 07 models on but there all the same, will fit your 03 model

I have that one in my megane 2 on a 55 plate


and its say 07 on so it will fit

Hi Guys,

I have just swapped my Double Din head unit from my Honda CR-v to the Meggy...cut away the wee bar pluged the large Black and Large white connectors into an ISO connector, this has left a wee yellow and blue connector, which I assume is for the old 6 CD changer and stork controls...problem is I have no power...with ignition on or off...any ideas....failing that it might be a trip to halfords !!

This unit works fine out of the box in the Honda.

Any help gratefully welcomed.

Hi, got a 2004 Megane I'm looking to fit a Sony dsx-a42ui aftermarket unit I've bought the right adaptors for it but they are sending me the single din for the tuner list head unit what facsia will I need to fit my new head unit,

As I'm stuck here help me with this as I've no music in the car and it's a long boring drive to and from work
