No idea. Best bet, measure the existing one using a suitable tool. And, you may need an air hammer to get the old one out.

Yeah i think it is 18mm, any meganes before 2004 were 16mm and then they changed for whatever reason after that.

Your auto components shop should be able to give you the right ones, they should have it listed in there components books, they have to be pressed in and old ones pressed out sub-frame has to come out.

the best way to do them is to get a bit of pipe(with atleast a 3mm wall) that fits over the lower edge of the ball joint
put it under the wishbone so the ball joint is inside the pipe and its touching the wishbone and the floor..pack it up with bricks if its too short.
then give it an almighty whack on top with a fbh and itll pop out into the tube
to replace put the ball joint in from the bottom with a smaller diameter pipe that the ball joint outer edge will sit on and try and get it centered ..then with the same bit of pipe you used before ..put it over the top this time and same again with the fbh..itll pop in in one go if your a good shot

no need to remove the subframe..just all the bits under the arch that get in the way

youll proberbly have mor problems separating the ball joint from the leg tbh

Sometimes, brute force is required as mentioned. The FBH made me laugh - once I worked out what it was :D

Damned sight better than the procedure described in Haynes... Top tip!

have replaced two balljoints without removing the arm. knocked the old joints out with a bolster and bfh and pressed the new ones in with a 4 inch vice and socket ,job done in less than an hour!
